Seoul metropolitan tram in South Korea is the most generally utilized fast railroad transport framework as a part of the world, highlighting ten tram lines. The framework serves almost ten million tenants of the capital city, Seoul, and the areas of Gyeonggi, Incheon and northern Chungnam. The aggregate length of the metro line is around 287km (179.4 miles) of which 70% is underground. The tram has 291 stations.

The lines are worked by four organizations – Seoul Metropolitan Subway (Seoul Metro), Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit (SMRT), Korail (Korea National Railroad) and Metro 9. Line 1 operations were started by Korail in 1974. The organization's operations later extended to lines 2, 3 and 4. SMRT was shaped in 1994 and works lines 5, 6, 7 and 8.
