be more comfortable and be more easier to walk around in so these brands are pretty popular these days so you'll see a lot of korean people wearing these brands around the streets like people in their 20s or 30s or even travelling in them so we got one of the popular street foods in korea which is fried rice cake with spicy hot sauce
so the hot sauce is made from gochujang which is fermented red pepper paste and a little bit of ketchup ketchup, gochujang, i think that's it but it's like really chewy because it's fried rice cakes and i feel like i'm in an advertisement right now with the fan right behind me and my hair's going crazy anyway i'll try it
it cooled down a bit last time i was here the ajumma fried it on the spot and it made it like really soft but right now i think the ajumma didn't fry it on the spot so now it's like a little bit harder to chew but it's good anyways you should try this kind of street food
other than like tteokbbokki and stuff if you want to try something new but it sort of tastes similar to tteokbbokki i got really thirsty so i ordered 'shikhye' as well and shikhye is a traditional korean drink that i really really love so it's got rice in it like pieces of rice
and it's actually made from... malt so it's made from rice and malt and you would usually eat it during... you would usually drink it during traditional days like big festivals like the lunar calendar new year's or like chuseok which is the thanksgiving day for korea
but it's like really good really refreshing and it's sweet and it's totally made from natural ingredients no sugar in it whatsoever just made from rice and malt and... i think it takes around a day to make but it's like so refreshing
so you should definitely try it the name is shikhye shikhye and you should definitely try it when you're just around the streets and stuff it's like a really good korean drink this place used to be a mill rice mill maybe we should replay the kiss scene here
